Blake Wright is a versatile talent, working as an actor, filmmaker, and poet. With his professional acting experience starting in 2016, Blake has appeared in a variety of productions, from film to stage, and has also worked as a model, starring in commercials.
Blake's education and training is extensive, having been a professional studio member at Charlotte Acting and studying under the renowned Linda Ann Watt. He also earned a BA in Theatre from the University of Southern Maine, where he took on leading roles in productions like "The Importance of Being Earnest," "Of Mice and Men," and "Tartuffe." His performances at the DeerTrees Theatre in "Fortune" by Deborah Zoë Lauffer and "Art" by Yazmina Reza were equally well-received, and in the summer of 2021, he starred as Orlando in "As You Like It."
Blake has made a name for himself in film as well, with noteworthy projects such as the upcoming romantic comedy feature "Dole Mates," the critically acclaimed wilderness survival short film "The Hunting Trail," and the highly anticipated Stephen King Dollar Baby short "One for the Road." In addition to his work in film, Blake has recently published his first poetry book, "The First Quarter."
It's worth mentioning that Blake is also SAG Eligible, which means he is qualified to join the Screen Actors Guild, a prestigious labor union that represents actors in the film and television industry.
